Hi again, Randall: I found the doll with the fashions at Ames Department Store in Pittsburgh, PA. Unfortunately, the store filed for Chapter 11 and is going out of business. I bought it a couple of weeks ago on sale. At that time they had several of the dolls that come with the fashions (burgundy set, blue set, and gray set). I got the gray set because I loved the wool coat and the black sweaters. I would have gone back and got the rest of them (the blue coat was lovely) if the sweaters and pants had fit Candi. Maybe I can alter the sweaters, but there's nothing that can be done about the pants, they're just too narrow to fit over Candi's hips. I'm not sure if they'll fit over a slim Babs (may generation girl?). Hope you have luck finding a store that sells them, because even if just a few items in the fashion box fit your gals they are a good deal, and, as I have said, quite sophisticated and well made considering how inexpensive they are. Malika, Tuesday Taylor, etc.

Hello, I just got my Malika (from MFD). Wow, she's a beauty!!! Her hair is actually 2 colors mixed together- black and cranberry. I'm not even going to change her clothes. I think she looks amazing as is. If you haven't ordered Malika yet, you need to look into her, the web site is: www.mfd.net I predict this one's going to do very well on the secondary market (for those who will actually let go of them) so you don't want to miss getting one for retail. My Integrity girls are looking great together! I finally dressed Giselle. I wasn't fond of the crimped hair so I actually trimmed it and pulled it back into a chignon and dressed her in Candi's On the Avenue (I think that's what it's called). She looks so good! I decided to sell the Photo Hunt Alysa, she's on eBay right now (starting at .99 no reserve BTW). I'm still deciding on the Photo Hunt Janay. I like the red hair, but I haven't found her an outfit yet. I'm thinking about giving her an afro. Also, I am now collecting Tuesday Taylor dolls by Ideal. She's the 11 1/2" doll, some have the hair like Jam N Glam Barbie the switches around (from blonde to brunette on Tuesday) but the later ones just had regular hair. I'm looking for Tuesday dolls and most importantly clothing and acessories! If you have any that you are willing to give up, please LMK. HI all, Just wanted to let folks know about a couple of things going on with me right now. My mother thats in the nursing home here hasnt been doing real well of late so most days I spend down there with her until after 8pm in the evening and dont get online much till after 10 or after at night. SO IF i dont get back with some of you PLEASE DONT think I am ignoring anyone its just I cant get lots of things done for myself personally until way late in the evening. Wtih mother its pretty mucha progressive thing since she had the major stroke she had 12 years ago, she has been having much trouble swallowing foods now and tey think she may have a touch of pnuemonia on top of it all, She may have also had another mini stroke her speech has gotten quite slurred in the last few weeks and she will see a speech therapist tomorrow afternoon and her doctor shortly thereafter. SO folks with being a caregiver for mother and my S.O. has been haveing some problems with his dialysis lately too so I have to do alot of the things for him so he can get his rest. THUS my DOLL work has to be done at real odd hours when I have the chance to get it done, Its been SLOW going for my doll work in the last month due to all of these things plus I havesome of my own personal difficulties to deal with also. SO to all of those that I have swaps going with or commissions or dolls that are going out, PLEASE bear with me a little thinsg are taking me longer than I had anticipated to get done. I want to thank the MANY MANY friends I have online, Your friendship is so GREATLY APPRECIATED more than I can express!! TTYS MY FRIENDS!!! Kevin

Hello everyone, I was wondering how many of you have pre-mikelman candi's? If you do, would you consider sending pictures or web site addresses where you dolls can be viewed? I've not seen any of the older candi's for ages on ebay and I've been really curious about all the varieties that were originally made. I have three I think , but they are packed away at this time.
