Redressed Fashion Dolls

Hey, I finally got around to taking some pictures of some of my dolls that I have redressed. If you're interested then take a look at the following links. I hope you all don't mind me posting OT about my web site. I feel like I have so many pals here so I like telling you all what's going on. HI All, Few quick replies to some questions on my latest round of pics. Orange Sherbert was a mermaid lea in her former life. I body swapped, cause I was too lazy to reroot the orange hair. I needed another doll with orange hair, as this is the outfit I originally started to go with the orange haired doll that ended up in the purple and orange plaid. Not sure how I got my self into that one. LOL The eyelash fabric was surprising easy to work with. Other that having little bits of threads ALL over the work room. I am still finding pieces or it. I didn't do anything special for the seams other than a lot of fraycheck as the fabric was pretty loosely woven. The perfume bottles in the shop are made of tiny crystal beads, and are a lot of fun to do. I actually made those quite a while ago, and just rememberd I still had them. The bags in the article in Barbie Bazaar were made by several people that I know very well. I actually have a couple of the little oval fifties ones in the shop already that were copied for Tess's bags in that article. I have one of the little wooden ones too, but it is still on the doll that it was made for. And yes we have had some cave ins from the snow. Our Bed, Bath and Beyond store is totalled, and I have seen several other stores with yellow tape around them because they have been condemed. Our next door neighbor had some pretty bad sagging in his roof, but our little shack built in the 20s seems to be holding up just fine. The temps have been in the forties, so things are melting, but not at an alarmingly fast rate. ( knock on wood!) We mostly just had a little wet snow yesterday that melted as it fell, but they are possibly forecasting another foot for Thursday into Friday. Hope it really isn't that bad, because people are still trying to get all the limbs from the trees cleaned up from the last one. It is quite a mess. Snowbound projects

Hi All, Did manage to complete a few things ( well, a lot of things, but not all doll related! LOL ) while piled under the snow. It is snowing again right now, and I am getting a little nervous. LOL Anyway, here is my latest doll. After getting a couple of Dorothys extra cute hats, I was inspired to get it done. Hi Suzanne, thank you for your post, I have been getting phone calls (very unusual) and a lot of e mails, in regards to the dolls being sold out. I would love to know who spread the rumor, because it has cost me a lot of time in sending out e mails to people to say that only the lst shipment is sold out, plus anwering the phone. Although I do not think it will be long and we will both be sold out of the second shipment. Have a great day. Pat

Snow still

Hi All, Well, I am still parked in a snow drift. Check it out! http://www.frii.com/~mroczko/temp/snow.jpg We are at over two feet, and it is still snowing. The wind is expected to pick up today and really get to howling, so blizzard conditions are expected. We need the water, but this is ridiculous! LOL Guess I will do some baking, and some more doll playing, although yesterday I painted instead, and played Cootie with the kid. Kinda nice to have an enforced break though. Snowball fight

Hi Kathy, sounds good to me, as Robin said with 2 ft of snow on top of the several small snow storms, and living on top of a mountain, I still have enough snow left to send a couple of hundered snowballs your way, along with a large snowman. Hi all! Popping up very briefly to let you know that heavy phone, e-mail and shipping abound around here right now, especially since the arrival of the first shipment of the FR dolls. Consequently, I have a slight backlog that is being worked through. I'm sure you've all seen various and sundry pics around the net. These dolls are simply wonderful! If you haven't seen the review on www.dollsearcher.com on the Suited Luxury Adele, take a look. I don't recall ever seeing anyone there give a doll a "perfect 10" before! I had someone tell me today that she was told that I was sold out of the dolls. This is not the case, as yet. I am simply temporarily out of stock on all but Lush Life at the moment because only a portion of the dolls arrived in the country. I did receive more of the Lush Life dolls than the other styles because she is an exclusive, so she can still be shipped immediately. I do still have the capability of accepting orders on all the other styles as well, but they will have to ship when the balance of the dolls arrive. I have been told they are due to arrive the end of the month and should be in stock the first full week of April. Aria, the new Icon exclusive, has also arrived and is currently shipping. I had one deboxed at a show I did this past weekend and that girl was posed and reposed all day long, LOL. I also have had new shoe paks that have come in, as well. There is another 20 pak of the double strap sandals with new colors in it and a new "Champagne Evening" pak that comes with 4 pairs of shoes with glitter, clear and blue with silver glitter and red and black with gold glitter. Packaged with the 4 pairs of shoes are a champagne bottle and 2 champagne flutes. Both shoe paks are listed under accessories on both the in stock Candi page and the Integrity page of my site. I briefly saw some earlier posts about the mystery doll on the mastercollector.com site, referring, of course, to the Veronique with the great necklace. Her picture wasn't supposed to be used because Integrity isn't quite ready to announce her but I would say the cat is sort of out of the bag, :-). I can't give you details yet but can say she is in collection II, so she is a 2003 Veronique. I think more information will be made known around June. Back to work. OT Snowball fight anyone?

HI All, Anyone up for a snowball fight? Try coming to Colorado today! We have over 8 inches of heavy wet snow on the ground, and more falling every minute. Hubby left for work in the car, and came back and got the truck with four wheel drive. He works in a town about an hour away, but I bet it will take him a lot longer to get there. Hope he doesn't get snowed in at work, but it would serve him right for going in the first place. Tried to get him to stay home. All the schools all over the state are closed, and they are starting to close highways even on the plains. You don't even want to talk about the mountain passes. I guess I get to stay home and play with dolls. Of course, I am also snowed in with a 3 year old with cabin fever, so may not be as much fun as it could be.
