Hello, In the process of thinning my collection (and trying to afford a Momoko) I am selling some of my Alysa type dolls. Hello Everyone, I definitely think Jason could have one of the fashions. As deeply involved and committed to Candi as he has been, I would be fine with giving him one as a courtesy... a "thank you for all the dedication, work and talent" kind of thing. (And if Jason ever wants to create an exclusive CandiChat fashion for us -- for all the same reasons -- well -- I wouldn't be one to turn it down. LOL.) Let's remember that Jason was, and still is, one of us. I'd like to hear from him, too. Hi Jason! Exclusive Fashion

Hello, I have a question for you all. Apparently Jason Wu is interested in having a Candichat exclusive fashion. Since I know most of us are fans of Jason, and many of us fondly remember him being on the chat with us ... I wanted to run the idea by you all and see if there would be any objections. As you know, I had no intentions of selling to anybody not in the group and will not even let Jason have one if it does not meet your aproval. Not much news to report on the fashion at the moment. Both fashions are in Columbia and we are waiting for counter samples. I will keep you posted as soon as I know anything. Randall Craig

OT: Bad weather in South Dakota

Hi All, Sorry about the cross posting, We had some HORRIBLE storms and tornadoes go thru South Dakota and southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa last evening, Some of you might have seen the stories on the National news this evening, We had over 60+ tornadoes touch down in eastern South Dakota and they were classified as F4's, the scale goes from F1 thru F5 and there are even F6's although not a common occurance for an F6. There was a small town in Eastern South Dakota that was totally wiped off the map and one in Southern Minnesota that was almost completely decimated also, damage to most areas has been estimated so far in the billions, many people lost there farms and homes. We here in central South Dakota BARELY missed the tornadoes we had horrible rain showers, more like sheets of rain coming down last night, Where I live in Pierre the tornadoes first started touching down only like 65 miles east of town, pretty scary. So just as an aside please send good thoughts and wishes and prayers for the people here in the midwest that have lost much in the last day now. Bit of trivia, this is the SECOND town in South Dakota to be completely obliterated from existance in the last 5 years from the exact same thing a HUGE tornado. Ok Enough of my OT rambling but just wanted to share with folks. BTW, I have been not feeling too hot myself, having some troubles with neuropathy in my feet and legs and my hands give me fits sometimes too so I have been SLOW going of late again in getting my things and wrk done. Hi, all! I just wanted to share with you. I attended a Veronique & Adele luncheon in Northern Maryland yesterday. Jason Wu & Percy Newcomb were the guests. It was a marvelous day! The event was held in a barn on the Carroll County Farm Museum property & it was a very cozy & quaint setting. Jason did a nice talk about his dolls from how he got started to how dolls go from ideas to production to collectors. He brought several of the Fashion Royalty line to show including the new dolls that are pictured on the Fashion Royalty website. The new Chic Escape is just TOO CUTE & has BLUE eyes under the shades! There was a great Gourmet Deli luncheon & lots of door prizes & "helpers" raffled off-some donated by Integrity, of course. I didn't win any of the above, but I did win the table centerpiece which consisted of a potted plant & a Basic Adele. My very first Fashion Royalty doll. The Luncheon doll is a beautiful redhead in "Toast of Paris". I can't say enough about these beautiful dolls. So much detail! But, of course, some of you already own some of the Fashion Royalty & know all that. I got a chance to speak with Jason after the talk & he remembered me from CandiChat. I gave him greetings from the list. He is such a nice young man & so "down-to-earth". We have so many amenable & talented people on our list. I'm so glad I found CandiChat many years ago. You all are great; through the "thick & thin" of the Candi world! Best wishes, Melissa
