I'm the same as you Pat. I do personal Emails and accept
personal cheques. Guess we are both old fashioned. hahaha I
think I will have to do the PayPal thing though, but the fees seem to be real
high when changing to an PayPal money accepting account. PayPal charges
Canadians more. Haven't sold on Ebay in months, so it may be a little
different.
I'm totally interested in the Garage Sale for the people in
this Group :-) Would definately get me motivated to do some Winter/Spring
sorting and hopefully find some dolls to add to my collection :-)
I'd even be willing to do TRADES.
My ebay ID is arctic-fox
Although, I don't have anything up for auction at the moment,
but you can check my feedback :-)
Will talk later,
Diane

Subject: Re: eBay monikers
Hi, all. Given that many of us are currently or going
to be selling on eBay, would there be any benefit to us knowing who each
other's user i.d.s are? I think this List posted user i.d.s moons ago,
and I don't know if it did any of us any good to know who each of us were on
eBay. Any way, just a question. But for any one's interest, if you
come across opinionated as a user i.d., that's me. I'm trying to do more
selling, but gadzooks! the prices have to be so cheap. And while
I'm pondering getting involved with the dreaded PayPal, I still conduct
auctions the old-fashioned way: I follow the closings and I send out my
own emails and I take personal checks. I may think that be interactive
with bidders makes for a more fun transaction, but so far I've discovered that
my idea of fun does not conform with the current trend for little to no
contact and being able to pay automatically. Bleah! I'm old and
crabby and very opinionated! Pat Brown
