Hi there,

I just wanted to update you all on the progress of the exclusive fashion. This is a very wordy e-mail but for all those interested in the fashion please read it in it's entirity. I hope you all are as excited as I am!

I just had lunch with Oscar who is, very graciously, acting as the go-between and setting up the manufacturing. I have designed two outfits, one is a suit and one is a skirt and top. I am going to be making the samples this next week (you will see pics and I welcome all of your comments and suggestions). Then my samples will be sent, along with the patterns, fabrics, and notions, to Columbia (BTW, the facility that we will be utilizing is not a huge factory, they use a couture type method of sewing). There the counter sample will be made. The counter sample will be the same as the production fashion. It is done so that I can approve of how everything is manufactured and also so the manufacturer can determine their pricing.
I am going to try my best to keep the pricing as low as possible. I am defenitely aiming for under $35. However, these designs take a lot of work to execute and the only two deciding factors in determining price are the cost of supplies and the cost of manufacturing.
Hopefully everything will go smoothly and you all will get to vote on the two counter samples and choose which one you like the best!
The list of people interested is below. Including myself there are 21 interested persons. After the counter samples and pricing are approved (by me and then the group) then a deposit will be required for your fashion. The remainder will be due after completion of the fashions and before shipping.
Oh, the packaging is on it's way to me as well!
