Hi!
In 1990 KMart released a line of dolls called Fashion Friends. There were two different sizes of dolls, one utilized the PTR Barbie body and the other one the Skipper body. The dolls were made by Mattel and the fashions by Arco but they did not carry the Barbie name. I think there were two of each of the dolls, a swimsuit and a dressed version of each and three fashions available for the Barbie sized doll only. There is one of the Skipper sized dolls on eBay right now:
