Hey guys, I'm just plain aggravated with this problem... lol... So, while I'm griping - how about jewelry that is sewn on! I mean, I buy the darn doll just to get the outfit, the jewelry being an important part of the outfit's appeal, and it can't be removed! I've rethreaded some of the necklaces, but haven't yet had luck finding clasps that are small enough, so the results are less than perfect. Sigh... LOL Sometimes I make myself crazy making a fashion that comes off. I have only done three dolls that the clothes were non removeable. Two of those were the metal mesh dresses, that I just couldn't figure out how to manage it, so there was only 1 made of fabric. For me it is a throwback to Mattels vintage years where they made these wonderful clothes that fit perfectly and could be changed at will.
