might help to ID a doll we have & haven't a clue as to who she is
Hi Pat,
Glad you liked the site. A friend put it together for me and I wish it had some kind of index or something. It doesn't even have a "back" or "home" button! LOL. But she did it for nothing -- wanted the practice so I can't complain. I do want to put together a site (or refine this one) that is more user friendly for exactly the purpose you mentioned -- to ID dolls.
I also need to find said friend and see if she's up to putting up the rest of my dolls. I just updated my database and I have almost 250 dolls and there were only 12 Mattel dolls on it. I do have more Mattels, plus all my Candi's which I might put on a separate database. I had no idea I had so many DIFFERENT OFDs!! Some of the 250 are ones I have more than one of, but not many. (OK - that wasn't my best sentence structuring! LOL. It's late!) I want to add another field to it, too, so I can extrapolate just the clones.
Any collectors input about the dolls is always welcome. For most of them, I don't have anything more than what's on the site. I'd really like to know more about the clones and I'd like to be able to date more of the dolls.
