I just got back from the Marl & Joe Show in DC (actually Tyson's Corner, VA). It was rather smaller than in past years, but nice all the same. Candi -both Hamilton & Integrity- was well represented. Even some of Mikelman's new fashions were present... though there weren't many Charices. The sales table that I enjoyed the most had BarbieR dressed as nuns. This couple from TN had just about any order you could conceive of represented. There was one with a headpiece like "the flying nun"; there was one in a pink habit; there was one like Mother Teresa's order. They even had the Audrey Hepburn doll done up in both her black habit & her white habit from, "The Nun's Story". They were incredible; very precise & well researched! I succumbed to a Surf City Christie dressed in the Missionary of Charity habit (like Mother Teresa, in white with blue striped trim). I'm thinking of sending my Audrey Hepburn doll to this lady & get her dressed like "The Nun's Story"...
