I heard from someone that attended the Tonner luncheon at Doll & Teddy Bear Expo that Tonner bought out Effanbee. He is planning on making the Brenda Starr line, but with the Tyler body.

Just wondered if you all were aware of this. There is an announcement on the Tonner site at http://www.roberttonner.com, "In the News" section. Wonder if we will see a new and most likely improved Brenda Starr come back? I'll also bet he can do wonders with the adorable Patsy dolls based on his cute little Betsy's. I think this is rather exciting.
