I like the idea of an email garage sale, mind you that would entail me getting organised.
I have just come home from a month away on holidays in the tropics - have spent a lot of money but really enjoyed it all. No dolls actually figured in the process but then I have many addictions.
Yesterday I bought myself a copier,scanner/printer so I can scan pics for the web and also copy old family photos etc for scrapbooking which is another of my evil addictions - and let's not even mention altered art including books, postcards, playing cards, swap cards and on and on. I EAT money. I keep finding things with lovely old style illustrations on them that remind me of the illustrations in the early Barbie booklets which suck me in like nobodies business. A handbag, a keychain, a business card holder, a diary. Playing cards. It never ends. Good thing I go back to work next week to earn some more money!
Happy New Year everyone and here's wishing for a safe one for everyone everywhere - I can still dream. Love Sandra in Brisbane, Australia

Pardon me while I ROTFLOL! If I knew what it was like to exercise discretion with my dolly dollars I wouldn't be in the pickle I'm in now
with
liquidating dolls. Is there some drug I can take that will make me recognize when to curb my doll desires?
I still think we should plan for our Candichat garage sale. How about
the first weekend in Feb. That will give everyone a whole month to sort and plan. Even if most people only sell a couple of things that will give everyone a couple less fees they have to pay to Ebay. I don't do Paypal either, as I refuse to let them have access to my bank account, and they were charging too much to use them otherwise. I like personal e-mails
too,
so add me to the old fashioned set. I really hate auctions that are
Paypal
only. I just cruise on by. At least give me the option of a MO, and I
bid
a lot more on auctions where I can write a check. Oh well, that is progress for you. For the record, I don't own a cell phone either. LOL
