I'm really not spending any money on dolls BUT I have been holding on to a KB gift card since Christmas so I did get myself a new doll yesterday.
I just bought the Shakira doll by Mattel. I don't know what possessed my to buy her ... exept I don't think I've ever seen a 10.99 Mattel doll dressed in black. She's kind of cute, I'm sure I'll play with her for a while and then pass her along to her next owner ... which is what I usually tend do with newer Barbies. LOL
I do like her top though. I thought you all might want to see her:

Her eye-makeup is a little dark for my liking but I like her hair. What do you all think of her? Oh, and one more thing ... they've used molded on underwear on her, yuck! One of the reasons I liked the new style body so much is it was lacking that underwear.
