Hi, Elizabeth! I was the one who "sort of" organized the last swap. There were 13 who eventually ended up participating. Some pictures can be seen on Anja's website. We didn't do a doll swap, just an outfit & storycard for our state/country. We have members in Australia & Europe & it would have been pricey to send dolls.
I personally do not paint, reroot, etc. so I am not interested in an OOAK swap, but that is just me. However, I did enjoy the outfit swap... mine came all the way from New Zealand! Melissa
The SWAP idea really appeals to me. That's probably the only way I am going to have anyone else's OOAK dolls in my collection! There seems to be a lot of swapping going on in CustomDolls...as a matter of fact, our Kathy M. swapped her beautiful "Martini" from the recent Cocktail Contest. Did you see her, Pat? I don't recall her "Poison Ivy" doll...I'll have to check out her website.

How many people were in on the swap, Pat?...do you recall?
I don't see why we couldn't organize something similar...it would be interesting and fun. Is Anja still around?...I haven't read any posts from her...and does anyone know even approximately how many (active) members there are?
Would any other members be interested in say.....a SPRINGTIME OOAK Candi SWAP??
Elizabeth
