I have been wanting to post and it seems like I can't even gather my thoughts. I am discusted by this whole thing. As far as fearing the end of Candi, come on ... look how many stages this doll has went through ... the fighting, the name calling, etc. of all the people involved. Candi has survived IN SPITE OF Helena. But then again, maybe the end of Candi would be a good thing. Mikelman did some great work with the doll and Jason is now doing some fabulous work. IMO, everything good about the doll has came from Mikelman or Jason, nothing from Helena. Helena has only been along for the ride, because she owns the name. I can understand Helena being upset about not having had final aprooval on the dolls. From a designer's perspective, I understand how both Jason and Helena think, designwise. However, I'm pretty sure Candi would be better off with cheif designer Jason Wu (or chef as Helena spelled it???) without Helena's aproval. Do you all remember the bows that she put on all of Candi's ... well everything? What about the pink satin dresses? The gingham coctail dress? I could go on for hours, but I don't need to. This truly makes me want to rid my collection of Candi.
