I've just uploaded pics of the Vintage baggies I received yesterday. I have no clue as to why we have baggies before the boxed dolls but we do and I'm glad to see them because they are done so well. Jason did the facial screening and I tried to get really good close ups of the faces so you could fully appreciate just what a good job he did with these dolls. I hope that I have somewhat succeeded with these pics.
I've also gotten in a few of the new MiKelman fashions. I have a new pic up of the True Blue fashion. When I got the fashions in I liked it so much more in hand then I did in the publicity pic formerly available, that I redressed the Violet and Mints Cover Girl into True Blue, photographed her and now have my pic up. I left the top snap undone so you could better see the multicolor, metallic weave knit shell. I had her dressed this way as a display doll at my last show and was not alone in my opinion of how good this fashion looks on her.
Hope you enjoy the pics!
Thanks for postin' Suzanne, the vintage pics are so fab!!! The makeup seem a lot better than the original pics that were released few years back. I especially adore the Hispanic swirl! By the way, just found these pics of the International production samples on katy's site: http://www.katyskollectibles.com/dollpictures.asp?WebUserId=4621449
Check 'em out, everythings looks great! I already have a full set on order.... I've been wanting that Femme Fatale fashion ever since the picture came out in the 1997 Candi International magazine(i think Mattel copied them with their spring in Tokyo that came out a while ago) Anyway, I'm glad it's finally out. Also love the new additions by Integrity. Well, let me know what ya'll think about these! On another note...is it me or does that true blue fashion look like a pajama set?......
love always, Rene --- SuzW397026@aol.com wrote:

Thanks for these pictures Rene. I was at the Cu doll show in Marietta Ga, this past Sun. & bought a Mikelman Charice AA doll whose hair had been redone in an electric blue color with bangs & short pageboy...by Charles Josef & she was wearing this True blue fashion which looks great on her. I'd never would've put snaps on it tho, as it looks almost like a diff. outfit with the coat open so you can see the wonderful metallic blouse underneath, , totally takes away the pj look..the shoes with it are a great little strappy blue pair...I think it may come with a Mikelman hatbox, at least my special doll did... Saw quite a few Candi or Charice dolls at the show, more than usual ,but they were usually those bubbles & ponytails of a few years back. Got a Cher doll there for $32, I think she's gorgeous...much improved over those ones of years ago.. Got a bag of 4 dolls ( Malibu Francie & PJ, a blonde old er Stacey ,not the new little kid , & a brunette TNT) in fair to great shape, most need their makeup redone... a nice old Dawn with shorter hair & also a Hair Fair head...plus odds n ends of clothes, assess. from about the 70's all for $100...it's been a long time since I got such a great deal on the Malibu Francie, who's one o my all time favs...love that CAsey type face. You used to find them all over the place for about $15 & now she's up to $50. You can't imagine the great time we 3 who went to ths show together, had in the car on the way back. My bargain bag alone had us entertained for much of the 3 hr. trip. Pat H.
