It was interesting to note on the Integrity site, that there's going to be a Fashion doll convention in Dallas in Aug. It's about time there's another convention dedicated to all fashion dolls ( I see Tonner is involved also) besides just Barbie..it was OK when The Barbie convention allowed other Fashion Dolls but some made a rule that it was to be Barbie only & in this day & age, that' is so limiting ( tho I must say , there are more beautiful Barbie dolls out this past year or 2 , then ever before) I'm winding down in my doll coll. as I have way too many & too little space in spite of the fact I have a huge room to show them...& I'm going for only those that truly turn me on Or are different from the usual same old same old. I also may buy a few outfits that are really outstanding ...but that' s it. (I think, well maybe ) . We're going thru a terrific 'broke' period when everything in the house is breaking down, the yard needs work & my car is complaining..add to the fact that both our sons were out of jobs for a period & needed help in tiding over. & the icing on the cake is when a cap came off my tooth ( don't eat MIlk Duds if you have caps or anything that chewy of a caramel ) This is all helping to make my decision much easier...I even skipped a doll show I really wanted to go to & would have been the 1st one in a long time. If you go by Ebay everything is way down in price including rare things like #1 Barbies & no bang Francies....that 's prob. just if you want to sell...if you'd want to buy one of those they'd be the usual extraord. high price.
