Hi all,
I don't really feel like I am "up" on everything that is going on in the candi world since I have been away from my computer for 14 months due to a shoulder injury and surgery, etc. so I would greatly appreciate your help if you could steer me in the right direction when I am incorrect about anything, etc.
I just got the new Candi (baggie for $9.99) from Paul David - I have to say I was so dissappointed and stunned when I saw her. Talk about make-up - this poor thing looks like a clown! She has a fuller face and an open smiling mouth. I thought Veronique was "the new" candi. Can anyone shed any light on this confusion I am having? Also, does anyoone know why I am just coming up as a "k" instead of my entire name or e-mail address like everyone else?

This is the doll that I got!!!!! Thank you for the great pictures - I had so much fun looking at everything on this website. Thank you also Kevin and Colin for your input and just a great big thank-you to all for diagnosing my confusion. I still cannot believe that this is the new Charice. I got the redhead and, as I mentioned before, she looks like a clown with that horrible make-up.
Now I can look forward to the new Candi line and have my eye on veronique and Adele - their face paint is absolutely fantastic.

Thank God I'm not the only one who thought the new Charice was hideous.I thought she ws lovely with the Alysa facemold.That's how I always thought of Charice,but all I can say about the new face is BRRRRRR. I have to admit it is such a huge difference between Charice and Candi. Jason Wu is just amazingly talented I believe and I think he puts a lot of love into his dolls and designs!
