As an aside, I will be carrying the new 12" vinyl Lollipop Girls by Jan McLean. These whimsical creatures are adorable and I couldn't resist them, LOL! Special pre-order pricing is in effect, if any of you are considering them.

I have been told that the first shipment due to arrive mid to late July will have decals with Jan McLean's signature on the boxes. Later issues aren't supposed to bear the signature. They are also not going to be carried in any major chains, at least for this year. I would assume that means they aren't closing the door to doing this somewhere down the road but the lady I spoke with didn't know for sure if an appearance in a major chain will ever take place.

There are plans to do fashions and accessories in the future for these girls, too. I doubt we will see them before 2003 from what I was told but at least we know they are in the works.
