I had to forward this to the group, it's from the Paul's Pals list. I don't want to cause any uproar but since I can't post to Paul's Pals I am sending it somewhere that i can discuss it. Please read below. Now, I haven't seen the advertisement that he is talking about but as of a few months ago the relationship between Mikelman/PD and Helena Hamilton was sour if we could even describe it as being existent. I can't beleive that Mikelman would slam the writer by saying that we should question the integrity of those who wrote and published this ad. Comments?

Contrary to the misinformation presented in a Katy's Collectibles advertisement in a recent issue of Barbie Bazaar magazine, Paul David and MiKelman ARE once again affiliated with Hamilton Toy and the CANDI doll.
For the record, Hamilton Toy owns the rights to the CANDI doll. Distributors, retailers, and advertisers such as Katy's Collectibles, Integrity Toys and Paul David & MiKelman are licensees of the CANDI product, but they are not authorized to speak on behalf of Hamilton Toy Company.
The remarks in Katy's advertisement are erroneous untruths and do not reflect the business relationship between Hamilton Toys and Paul David & MiKelman.
Please disregard them and question the integrity of those who wrote and published them.

It's not the June BB ad, must be the August edition? Is August out yet? I was at Barnes and Noble this Saturday, they didn't have the August edition.

I just saw in my local Walmart a new Janay and Jade--each are in the capri pants outfit. Not new to most of you, but for my Walmart, anything that is not pink is new. I don't buy dolls anymore, but do follow them, still. I think it's curious that a handful of Integrity dolls wind up on the Walmart shelves alongside the Kid Kore dolls, but never more than a few. Why do they bother with them at all? Or is there a marketing secret that Integrity is testing? I did like the updated facial screenings on both dolls and the contemporary fashion look.
Okay, 'splain this to me, Suzanne, is Jason also making creative decisions on the the Integrity playline fashion dolls in addition to the Veronique and Adele dolls line that is being created from scratch? Thanks, Pat Brown

I don't know much about this either, but judging from the "new" Charice dolls on Mikelman's site they MAY be working with Hamilton & I'm not particularly impressed... Melissa

Got the Santa Baby Charice at a doll show for $2.00 worth that just for the outfit, love the thigh high hose.
SB was the redhead with green eyes, redressed her in one of Ken's business suits, looks more appropriate.
Based on the photo on the website, Charice hasn't improved. Perhaps there is another $2.00 bargain in my future?

My friend and I were looking at the new Charice over the,and it's going to take a lot to make that doll look good.BOth were so shocked at how ugly the dolls was,she looked too much like the Superstar Barbie but uglier. Dena
