I'd also like to say that Suzanne is great to deal with. She is always accomodating & friendly along with the deal. Paul David in contrast has great prices, but runs "hot & cold". Sometimes you get great service & sometimes NOT. The one time I met Helena she was helpful, but rather spacey... The one time I met Jason, he was quite nice, too. (He used to be on this list.) It would be so nice if all could work together to make beautiful dolls without all the "whoop-la". JMHO. Melissa

Someone should clue her in that the majority of collectors WILL NOT by from Paul so she can ship all she wants to him but some of us won't be buying !! I've received baggies from him with neck splits - we are supposed to forgive him for this since the price was so cheap !! Does that make any sense ? I don't want a doll with a neck split (and we all know his return policy - there is none!) even if it was given to me !! Also, I left his list 'cause they were constantly trashing Jason . When I used to chat with Jason I knew there was a problem with the Mikelman outfit after one of them posted a not so nice msg on Jason's msg board. However, Jason never gossiped about those two - it was the other way around. Personally, I think Paul David has a couple of screws loose !! From what I've heard about her, I think Helena Hamilton is a bit strange also. That new doll from Mikelman with the open mouth and smiley face was unbelievably ugly - I was really surprised since I used to think he was supposed to be a good artist. Joan, I agree with you. I was really appalled when I read Helena's letter. She should realize that Jason Wu is the best thing to happen to Candi. If the Candi license is taken away from Integrity, I fear the end of Candi. The quality of the Hamilton Candis is awful and I won't be buying any. I feel bad for the people who looked forward to and bought the new Bettie Page dolls, what a disappointment. I am glad I have the original ones. As for the new Mikelman doll.... well, I just don't know what he was thinking. He has done some lovely facial screening in the past, but this one is not one of his best by FAR!

As far as Jason and Suzanne are concerned, they are wonderful people and it is just shocking to hear them trashed like this. I think we all know the reputations that Helena and Paul have. As for Helena's statement that Candi was all about color, personally I am glad to be able to buy a Candi who is not dressed in a mismash of plaids, polkadots etc. all topped off with lots of bows!

I wish Jason much success with his new line of dolls. I am sure it will be a relief for him to be out from under Helena's thumb.

I imagine that since Suzanne will no longer be carrying Helena's Candis, that will mean even more people not even considering buying Helena's Candis. Personally, it seems to me that she is slitting her own throat. Maybe Helena should visit more chat boards and see what people are saying about Jason's Candi dolls and about hers. Maybe this is just plain jealousy rearing it's ugly head on Helena and Paul's part. Bottom line is - if Jason goes, so will many of Candis customers!
