Hi All, Did manage to complete a few things ( well, a lot of things, but not all doll related! LOL ) while piled under the snow. It is snowing again right now, and I am getting a little nervous. LOL Anyway, here is my latest doll. Orange Sherbert:

And here is something I have been meaning to do for fun for quite a while now. After getting a couple of Dorothys extra cute hats, I was inspired to get it done. I will be replacing the shoes and purses with more handmade ones as I get them done.

And for the people who requested it. A pic of the little monster, I mean my son, in the snow pile.

Just wish that snow shovel would carry a bit more snow! That is our pile AFTER 4 days of serious melting. They are talking more serious snow later in the week. I can't imagine where we will put it. Better pack in the supplies now.

Wow! He's getting big, Kathy! Any cave-ins yet? That is what we had trouble with in the DC area this year & you've got lots more snow. The roof of a TRU & and an Ekerds Drug store fell in... Hope your roofs are more pointed there for sliding off... Love the shoe shop! and was Orange Sherbert a Mermaid Lea in a former life? Or did you reroot? Thanks for sharing! Hope you don't get more snow. Melissa in MD

Hi, Kathy:
What a big guy! He looks like he is thoroughly enjoying that snow; I can't make out whether the happy smile on his face means he's having fun playing or if he actually thinks he can move that mess of snow for you. lol Boys are such fun.
I'm impressed with Orange Sherbet, she's beautifully coordinated and a genuine original. Wish I could repaint and reroot like that, and sew. Oh, phooey, I just wish I had some make-over talent. Must be fun to make OOAKs. Being a diorama junky, I love the shoe shop, too. I'll look forward to seeing it again when you put your own bags in it. I saw some fabulous bags in a recent BB, they looked Kate Spade inspired and I couldn't believe someone would make such terrific bags for dolls. I liked the little perfume bottle, they sparkled! Are they real glass? It was a nifty little scene.
Thank goodness for snow, it got you to playing and sharing. ;-) Thanks!

Love the doll, did you say you rerouted the hair or dyed it or what? aren't doll scenes fun...did you make the little perfume bottles out of beads? Pat H
Hi there, Thank you for the neat pictures. Just love your doll scenes. They are really neat! Maybe one day I'll have room for some. I love the picture of your little boy in the snow. What's his name? Mine is due in three weeks. How's the weather out there now? Are you having much flooding? Best wishes, Sher:)
