Wisst Ihr schon, dass Franklin Mint seine Puppenproduktion einstellt?
Lisa schreibt in einer Email vom 14.1.2004: Hi Everybody, Today, Ace posted on the boards that Franklin Mint made the decision last Friday (9th) that they will be completely discontinuing all of their dolls. The stores are selling out quickly and will all close on January 31st. Apparently, the Mint will do some discounting on their website and will also continue to send their stock to Tuesday Morning Discount Stores.
In light of this news, I went back to my Franklin Mint store today and bought out ALL their dolls and Teddy Bears so that I could pass on some great discounts to my customers! I have so much new stock (although very limited amounts of each item) that I made a second FM page on my website! na das sind ja "schöne" aussichten.......jetzt wundert es mich auch nicht, daß sie auf ihrer homepage die puppen so reduziert haben, rausgenommen. echt schade, denn ich finde die franklin mint puppen mit unter am schönsten, vor allem die portrait puppen sind echt toll. wirklich schade, ich frage mich nur, wieso sie die produktion einstellen. die puppen verkauften sich doch prima. allerdings wohl eher bei ebay als bei franklin mint direkt, wo sie ja doch sehr teuer sind. auszeichnungen bekamen sie auch etliche....wie gesagt, schade ist's alle mal. die preise bei ebay werden jedenfalls in die höhe schnellen..... viele grüße Rene
