I can see why you do so, but that rather defeats the purpose (to me) of having the reply-to set in the first place.
There is also an option that you want to reply-to header always set. However, I don't have time to look it up. I can send you all the help files for Majordomo if you want to look it up yourself. (It is not in the same category as "set replyto" and "set prefix". It is a setting available to the list maintainer only, but I suppose it would be possible to allow users to set it themselves.)
I still have to be alert enough to detect that my reply is NOT going to gpc@gnu.de, which I often am not.
In mutt, I use "list reply" for that purpose. Then I can be sure my reply goes to the (predefined) list address.
