I have it printed and at my side at all times :} It showed how to get the selector to conventional memory, but not on how to access memory without a selector.
There is no chance to access the VGA memory without - explicitly or ... such things.
I'm going to use GS then. I love the fact that there's 1 register that doens't get modified throughout the program :)
