Did you know that 34% of statistics are simply made up on the spot?

Speaking for myself, I have 5 computers, 1 Windows, 1 Linux Server,
two MAC OS X computers, one SUN Ultra. That is not counting the
dozens of Linux servers and target machines I use at work. On a
given day I use Windows at home for several hours, all day with
a MAC portable, and constantly have VNC, ssh or X connections going
to Linux on both my MAC and Linux desktops. Frankly I don't worry
that much about whether or if so support the desktop environments,
the "big three" are out there and in use, and each has a committed
following. I worry about the "secondary" environments of XBOX,
Iphone, Droid, Ps2 and others.

You can choose your environments by deciding what to support and
what not to support, but in reality you are choosing your customers,
or they are choosing you.

Or you can broaden your horizons, support all you can, and let the
customers choose. I am 52 years old. I am going to retire when they
carry me out horizontally.

Surf the wave.
