Yes, gpc-19980830 contains an incomplete file p/gcc-2.8.1.diff (which does some patches to the GCC sources). You can find a corrected file at: ftp://agnes.dida.physik.uni-essen.de/gnu-pascal/beta/gcc-2.8.1.diff.gz After putting it in place, be sure to start with fresh GCC sources -- otherwise GPC will think GCC is alredy patched and not apply the correct patch.
