This question has probably been asked before, but anyway... Will GPC ever be an integrated part of GCC? Wouldn't this automatically increase it's use?

Probably yes. But it will take some work to catch up to the latest GCC interface changes, and probably only Peter knows enough about both the GCC and GPC internals to do it, and his time is quite limited. So yes, it should be done, but I can't tell when it will happen.
