Hallo all
Does anyone know, where a Solaris 8 package (for `pkgadd') of the current (is this now 2.1 or 2.95.x? I'm a litte confused by the version numbers) stable gpc version is available?
Many thanks for any help!

I don't know. I could build a plain .tar.gz archive if you'd like, though ...
The current GPC version is 2.1 (and some alphas since then), and the GCC backend it uses can be 2.8.1 or 2.95.x (or 3.2.1 for the current alpha).
PS: Please don't cross-post to lists that are in different languages.
Reply-To directed to the English list only.

Adam from Poland created a package for Solaris 8 for me; Anyone interested can drop me a mail and I will pass it on (or if somebody has an FTP-space I can move it there)

You can do a HTTP upload on

He did so, and the package is now available at
http://gnu-pascal.de/binary/gpc-20020510-sol8-sparc-local.gz
(It's GPC 2.1, if you (Roland) need a more recent version, let us know.)

I can try if I find some time later.
Hi all, specially to Frank, due to it's offer about generating a more recent version (please see below).
Once I found accidentially Mariusz Homepage (unfortunately I lost the link) where I downloaded about a year ago 2.95.5 (if I remember correctly).
Frank, you told me a few mails earlier, that 2.1 IS the most recent version. So it is no or not? ;)
Of course I will be happy when a 3.2 or 3.2.1 is available, this will fit my gcc version (3.2).
A nice weekend to all!

I've just build GPC 2.1 (on top of GCC 2.95.2) on Solaris 8 x86. The package can be download from:
