Some of you have e-mailed me with questions about the Integrity licensing agreement with Hamilton Toys. This is a release sent to dealers this afternoon that brings you up to date.

Press Release: Dated: 2/7/03
Dear Integrity Toys Exclusive Dealers:
As the New York Toy Fair approaches, Integrity Toys would like to
provide you with the facts regarding Integrity Toys and the CANDI doll. Since 2000, Integrity Toys has been and remains an authorized creator, manufacturer and distributor of our own line of CANDI dolls. These dolls reflect the highest levels of quality which has always been the hallmark of all Integrity Toys products. Although we regret that various issues regarding our relationship with Hamilton Toys and the CANDI doll have arisen, we are confident that the issues are unfounded.
Because of the time taken to attempt to resolve these issues though,
Integrity Toys has not developed any new CANDI dolls for the New York Toy Fair. In the next 30 days, Integrity Toys will make a decision as to whether to continue to manufacture the CANDI doll line. We will continue to update you on that decision and what to expect for this collection in the near future.
Moving on to more exciting news, we sincerely look forward to seeing
all of our friends at the New York Toy Fair to preview the new Fashion Royalty collection of "Adele" and "Veronique", our 2003 collection of play line dolls , and a new series of collectibles. We believe you will be pleased with our achievements.
We thank you for your support given during 2002 and look forward to
continuing doing business with each of you for a successful 2003.
Sincerely,
Percy Newsum President Integrity Toys, Inc. (410) 885-5051
well, judging from the past, it wouldn't surprise me if once more, a certain someone has 'shot themselves in the foot' so to speak. At least we've got Jason & his lovely dolls & the other Integrity dolls. & at least there are a number of fairly new Candi dolls ...we had to wait so many years for these to come out. But a certain someone should realize that she just about exhausted all the doll companies capable of getting out a good quality doll. Does she have something against success?
Your last statement Pat made me wonder if this is the case. Just as Candi was becoming popular via the other venue problems developed. After reading the response Dollman rcvd, I wondered how long the Candi-Integrity collaboration would last. It would seem Integrity had questions too. They developed Adele and Veronique, introduced Mila and Giselle, and gave us a Janay collectible line. I will be saddened to see Candi relegated to doll history, but I'm glad Adele et al are here.
